Shared ownership: how we structure creator deals

Most production agreements ask a filmmaker to trade ownership for access. We think that trade made sense when access was the scarce thing. It is not the scarce thing any more.

How our deals work

Creators keep a defined stake in the IP they originate with us. We fund development and production, hold distribution, and share upside on a schedule that is written down before anyone starts work.

Filmmakers are becoming founders. The paperwork should say so.

It is not charity and it is not complicated. It is the arrangement we would want if we were on the other side of the table, and it makes the work better because the people making it are not renting their own ideas.
